Summer in Japan can be quite hot and humid, especially in June and July during rainy season. But don’t let the weather stop you! Summer is also the perfect time to enjoy great seasonal food, beautiful views and lots of outdoor activities. Everywhere you go you can find street festivals, mouthwatering cuisine and spectacular firework shows. A great chance to hike through breathtaking national parks, unwind on sun-kissed beaches, and admire the blooming flowers.

Here’s a collection of images to help you cool down.
